The Detour of Comfort: Navigating Familiar Routes in Life

Greetings, dear readers! Welcome back to The Grace Diary, where we dive into the intersection of our everyday experiences and the timeless truths found in the Word of God. Today, we embark on a journey inspired by a personal revelation during the closure of schools last November. Join me in exploring the profound parallels between a simple commute and the intricate tapestry of our Christian lives. My Personal Experience In November, a peculiar revelation unfolded during a period when schools were closed, and my daily routine seemed to be humming along as usual. Despite leaving my home on time, I found myself consistently arriving late at work, a puzzling deviation from my regular punctuality. My initial self-assurance attributed the tardiness to heavy traffic on the route to town. Keep Moving...

When things go south in our lives, we tend to question our Maker. We think that He has neglected us and leading a prayerful life is not worth it. But this is where we go wrong! God has a reason for every season. He knows why we go through difficult times in our lives. He always has a plan for us.
As Steve Harvey once said, “God doesn’t make any mistakes, you are exactly where you are supposed to be right now.” So guess what? Whatever it is you’re going through right now was actually meant for you.

Tough times build strong people. Tough times are eye-openers. Tough times makes us wise. You will never know if your circle of friends is authentic until you lose everything in your life and that’s when you will see who is the true friend that would stick closer to you than a brother. You may never know how it feels to use public transport until that time when you cannot afford the maintenance cost of your car.

You see. Storms in our lives make us grow. Make us to thirst for success; so bad that we would not mind sweating ourselves off. Difficult situations make us appreciate life and appreciate what God has given to us.
So maybe things are not working according to plan. Everything you put your hands on turns out to fail. But don’t you worry. God has a perfect reason for that. Because the best is yet to come. So, “if you are going through hell; keep going! Why would you stop at hell?” each one has to realize that giving up can never be an option. No matter how bad things are; Keep Moving!
