The Detour of Comfort: Navigating Familiar Routes in Life

Greetings, dear readers! Welcome back to The Grace Diary, where we dive into the intersection of our everyday experiences and the timeless truths found in the Word of God. Today, we embark on a journey inspired by a personal revelation during the closure of schools last November. Join me in exploring the profound parallels between a simple commute and the intricate tapestry of our Christian lives. My Personal Experience In November, a peculiar revelation unfolded during a period when schools were closed, and my daily routine seemed to be humming along as usual. Despite leaving my home on time, I found myself consistently arriving late at work, a puzzling deviation from my regular punctuality. My initial self-assurance attributed the tardiness to heavy traffic on the route to town. Day after day, I consoled myself with this explanation until a moment of realization prompted me to reconsider. One day, determined to solve the mystery of my perpetual lateness, I decided to deviate from the

God Did Not Bring You This Far Just to Leave You

We all experience different phases in life. Some make us happy while others are just devastating. Life is full of seasons and it is a journey on its own. But no matter what we go through during this journey, God is always by our side. He is ever-present meaning, He walks with us in every step that we take.
Adversities and challenges of this life push us to the point of giving up. We even doubt whether God is really with us and we tend to believe that He has forsaken us. Thus, we fail to notice or appreciate the things He has done for us and the far He has brought us. One thing we need to remind ourselves is that God has not brought us this far just to leave us.

Remember the story of Joseph. First, he was thrown in a well. Then later he was sold as a slave. After he declined the request made to him Potiphar's wife, he was sent to prison and from prison, he became a Governor. See! Joseph's story did not end at the well instead it actually started from the well. The moment you feel that things have just taken The wrong path and all is gone, that is the time when God manifests Himself in your life and gives you a new start. Joseph did not have it easy but that did not make him doubt God's presence in his life. Even while in prison, his trust was in God and God changed his life.

What about Moses and the Israelites? Finally, Pharaoh has agreed to let go of the children of Israel. They leave Egypt and reach the Red Sea. For a moment they complained to Moses and even told him that he should have let them stay in Egypt. But Moses made a prayer to God, and God spoke to him and that's why Moses used his stick to create a path for them to pass through. Again, God had not brought them that far just to leave them in the hands of the Egyptians again.

Lets always put our trust in God even when things get tougher. Let's make prayer a habit and not something we do when things go wrong. Let's have hope that God is going to turn around our situations because He alone is in control of everything.
Because God did not bring us this far just to leave us. Be Blessed!
